Treasure Ireland

Treasure Ireland - Online Fruit Machine

Treasure Ireland looks and feels the part, with jaunty Gaelic, swashbuckling sounds and music and a slick interface. In fact the game is very easy to learn, with a simple trail feature that contains bonus mechanisms that are mastered quickly. So you would imagine Treasure Ireland would be another top Microgaming online fruit machine. Unfortunately, it’s not. The fun stops after the novelty of the Irish stereotypes become old and once you’ve experienced the trail bonus...

Treasure Ireland Fruit Machine

I’ve never fallen off a trail game so regularly. I could almost guarantee a number 6 or 12 and a quick visit to the “mystery bonus” selector, with its predictably negative “lose” or “continue” selector. Unbelivably, even the latter option results in another selector shot with the options of “yes” or “no”. Invariably its no. However, and in Treasure Ireland’s defence, the trail bonus is easily triggered - plus players can be randomly awarded another attempt at the trail should you fall off it (again). To start the Treasure Ireland trail bonus simply watch for the treasure map symbols landing anywhere on the reels (i.e. they don’t have to fall on the payline) and the map indicator - when all three light up you can set off on the trail.

Regrettably, it doesn’t get much better on the reels. Watching my balance depreciate was okay when I thought, like with many fruit machine games, the trail will compensate my losses. Alas, that’s not the case as wins are scarce and not overly generous.

All in all, this is a disappointing fruit machine, which makes it a true rarity from the normally very reliable Microgaming team. Though it may be worth a few spins for the novelty factor and the amusing theme! You can play Treasure Ireland at either Dash or 32Red Online Casino. You can learn more about Treasure Ireland at 32Red.

Hints: Look for the maps and if you get two then keep nudging (if awarded) the remaining map-less reel until one falls into the payline. This will trigger the trail bonus feature...great.
